Shipping policy

Here's everything about how your books get to you. froshix is owned and operated by Akea, LLC. Short version: orders ship from within the US and most arrive in 6 to 9 business days.
Order Cut-Off & Handling
- Cut-off: 5:00 PM Pacific Time (PT), Monday–Friday.
- Orders placed after cut-off, on weekends, or on US holidays start processing the next business day.
- Handling time: 1–2 business days to pick, pack, and hand your books to the carrier.
Delivery Estimates
- Transit: 5–7 business days.
- Total estimated delivery: 6–9 business days from order to doorstep.
These counts run Monday–Friday, so weekends and holidays don't count. They're estimates — most orders land inside the window, a few run slightly outside it.
Shipping Rates
- Orders $139 and over: free shipping.
- Orders under $139: flat $5.99.
That flat fee already covers packing and handling — there's nothing extra after checkout, and the exact amount shows in your order summary before you pay. It's based purely on order value, never on weight or book count.
Where We Ship
- US only. No international shipping for now.
- We can't deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, PO Boxes, or APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. Orders placed with these addresses may be held or canceled and refunded.
Carriers & Tracking
- We ship via FedEx, UPS, and USPS, chosen per order.
- A tracking number lands in your inbox when your order ships. Allow 24–48 hours for first movement. No movement after several business days? Email admin@froshix.com.
Taxes
Sales tax, where it applies, is calculated automatically at checkout from your shipping address. The checkout total is the final total.
Address Changes & Accuracy
Check your address before ordering — we move fast, and a shipped order can't be redirected.
- Need a fix? Email admin@froshix.com right away; we'll update it if the order hasn't shipped.
- We aren't responsible for deliveries to addresses entered incorrectly at checkout. If a package boomerangs back to us over a bad address, reshipping may carry a new fee.
Delivery Problems
Tracking says delivered but no package? Look around your porch, mailbox area, and ask neighbors or your front desk — then give it 48 hours, since carriers sometimes scan early. Still missing, email us within 7 business days of the marked delivery date and we'll open a carrier inquiry.
Damaged or Lost Items
- Arrived damaged — bent covers, torn pages, crushed box? Send photos of the book and packaging to admin@froshix.com. We'll replace or refund it; often you won't need to send the damaged copy back.
- Confirmed lost by the carrier? Replacement or refund, your pick.
Issue Resolution Time
Give us 5–7 business days to investigate shipping issues — carrier claims involve their timelines too. We'll keep you posted throughout.
Delayed or Out-of-Stock Titles
If a title in your order is delayed or out of stock, we'll email you a revised date and let you choose: wait, swap, or refund that item.
Delays Outside Our Control
Severe weather, carrier backlogs, and holiday-season volume can stretch delivery past the estimate. We'll always help chase a late package, but carrier-side delays aren't something we can be liable for.
Returns & Exchanges
Covered separately in our Refund and Returns Policy — 30 days, with the return address provided by email once your request is approved.
