A few honest limits on what we can and can't promise. The Site at froshix.com is owned and operated by Akea, LLC. This page works alongside our Terms of Service. Short version: we stand behind our service — we just can't control publishers' cover changes, carrier delays, or what authors wrote.
Product Disclaimer
We describe and photograph every title as accurately as we can, but books have quirks of their own:
- Publishers reissue and reprint — your copy may occasionally arrive with a different cover design or printing than the photo, while being the same title and edition described. That's a publisher change, not a defect.
- Colors on covers can render slightly differently across screens.
- Page counts, dimensions, and formats come from publisher data and may contain small inaccuracies.
- Genuinely wrong, damaged, or defective books are fully covered by our Refund and Returns Policy.
Content Disclaimer
This one matters for a bookstore, so we'll say it plainly:
- The views, opinions, claims, and advice inside any book we sell belong to its author and publisher — not to us. Stocking a title is not an endorsement of its contents.
- Books are sold for reading and entertainment. Nothing in any book — including biographies, memoirs, or any title touching on health, money, or law — is professional medical, financial, or legal advice from us. For decisions in those areas, consult a qualified professional.
- Some titles, particularly in mystery, thriller, and graphic novels, may contain mature themes, violence, or strong language. Check the product page and publisher's age guidance before buying, especially for younger readers.
Shipping and Delivery
Delivery windows in our Shipping Policy are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Once a package is with the carrier, transit is in their hands — weather, backlogs, and peak seasons can stretch it. We'll always help chase a late package, but carrier-side delays aren't something we can be liable for. What we do own — damaged arrivals, confirmed lost packages, our own mistakes — is covered in our Shipping Policy and Refund and Returns Policy.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Akea, LLC and its members, officers, employees, and partners aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our products, and our total liability for any claim is capped at what you actually paid for the order in question. The full provision, including the consumer-protection exceptions that preserve your rights, is in our Terms of Service — this is a summary, and the Terms control if they differ.
Affiliate Disclosure
Right now, froshix.com contains no affiliate links and earns no commissions from linking elsewhere. If that changes — say, a reading-list post that earns us a commission — we'll mark it clearly where it appears and update this disclosure. Either way, it would never change the price you pay.
Changes to This Disclaimer
Updates are posted here with a fresh "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the current version.
