This page is for California residents and explains how to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. The Site at froshix.com is owned and operated by Akea, LLC. It works together with our Privacy Policy. Short version: email us, we stop the sharing, and nothing about your service changes.
Your Privacy Rights
Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing
- We don't sell your information for money — no one pays us for customer lists.
- But California law defines "sale" and "sharing" broadly: ad and analytics tools (like ad-measurement pixels) can pass identifiers — cookies, device IDs, browsing activity — in ways the law counts as a sale or share, even with no money involved.
- You have the right to tell us to stop that, and we will.
- We never knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Right to Equal Service
Opting out costs you nothing with us. We will not:
- Refuse you products or service
- Charge different prices or add penalties
- Lower your service quality
- Treat you worse in any way for making a request
Same books, same prices, same support — that's your legal right, not a favor.

- You can also ask us directly what personal information we hold about you — that's your right to know, and it's free.
How to Submit a Request
Email only — it keeps a clear record of every request:

- Subject line: "Do Not Sell My Information"
- Include: your full name, the email you use on our Site, and confirmation that you're a California resident
An authorized agent can submit for you at the same address — we'll ask for written proof of your authorization. You can also cut tracking on your end anytime by limiting cookies in your browser, per our Privacy Policy.
What Happens Next
- We verify the request is really yours: we match your name and email against our records, and may ask you to confirm from the email tied to your orders. Verification info is used for that and nothing else.
- We acknowledge your request within 10 business days.
- We complete it within 15 business days, as the CCPA requires.
- Can't verify it? We'll tell you why and what's missing — no silent ignoring.
A few practical notes:
- Opting out doesn't stop the basics — we still process orders, ship books, answer support, and meet tax obligations.
- It doesn't delete existing data; deletion is a separate request under our Privacy Policy.
- It covers our Site only; other websites and platforms have their own opt-outs.
- You can opt back in later by emailing us — we'll never push you to.
